So I'm employed...again
I guess that I have more news. I also had an interview with SASK Justice for the position of Victim Witness Services Coordinator....and I got that one too! I've decided to take the Justice job because it is Monday to Friday (8 - 5pm) with every third Friday off and I don't have to work nights. It's pretty neat how everything has worked out. Really I would have been pleased with either.
I had the interview for Justice last week and I was interviewed by a Crown Prosecutor and a Senior Social Worker and I was sure I did horrible...but I guess not! YAY!
Will keep you all posted as time goes by! Thanks for all the prayers and support.

I'm employed!
I got the job I interviewed for last week! Thank you everyone for your prayers. I have orientation next week. I'm so glad that I made this decision. More to come....

Trying not to dance around like a crazy person....
This week I applied for my dream job basically as a crisis counsellor in the Women's shelter at the YWCA. Since I got involved in Social Work, I have always wanted to work there. The past two months have been tough and somewhat discouraging after quitting my job. However, after visiting my old co-workers on Tuesday I knew that I had made the right decision. I'm feeling a lot better physcially and emotionally and was ready to work at McDonald's if necessary (although this possibility didn't excite me...I'll be honest)
Today I got a call and I actually managed to get the interview for my dream job position! It's tomorrow at 11:30am. I'm trying to not put all of my eggs in the same basket because I know that even if I don't get to work there now, I'll try again someday and that something better will come along. At the same time though...I'm going freakin' crazy over here! Somehow even the possibility of such things brings me a new excitement and energy! YAY!
